Welcome to IMA East's meeting at Fenix Stockholm and Wenner-Gren Center
We start the autumn term at one of Stockholm's newest conference facilities, Fenix Sthlm. Fenix is run by Sabis, which also has Fågelbrohus, Krusenberg Herrgård and Smådalarö Gård, Hotel & Spa and Wenner-Gren Center in its portfolio.
In Hagastaden you will find exclusive and newly built Fenix of 18,000 sqm. With selected design and generous ceiling heights, you will find a modern and social meeting place with meeting rooms for 8-100 people. Here you will find everything you could possibly need - open spaces for spontaneous meetings, conference rooms, gym, deli, restaurant and an exclusive rooftop bar for meetings, mingling and after-work.

The 50th International Annual Conference will take place in Stockholm, Sweden on October 18, 2024 in the central venue Hilton Stockholm Slussen, with a fantastic view over Stockholm and the Old Town. The host is IMA Sweden.

Our moderator for the event Paulina Modlitba will lead us through an inspirational day with excellent speakers. We are going to talk about the evolution of management assistants in the digital era.
One of the first digital assistant, Siri, was introduced in 2011 by Apple, and this opened a door of possibilities for digital assistants in the workplace. Many have been asking themselves if digital assistants will outcompete management assistants in the future. However, the role of management assistants has always been evolving, and our organization has been supporting its members to keep up with new requirements and adapt to the changing workplace since its foundation in 1974. With the adoption of computer-based tools and the emergence of digital assistants, the role of management support professionals continues to evolve, and IMA is here to support you every step of the way.
AI presents opportunities for management support professionals by automating routine tasks, enhancing data analysis, and facilitating decision-making. However, it also poses threats, such as job displacement and the need for professionals to adapt to new technologies. Successful integration of AI requires upskilling to leverage its benefits while addressing potential challenges. This is what this conference will focus on and give both inspirations and insights.
