What does it cost?
The membership fees are decided by the member countries - please consult each member country to see fees.
Individual members (members in countries without an IMA country group) currently pay 36Euro per year directly to IMA Global - and through that they get invitations to all the international events and take advantage of all the member benefits from IMA Global.
There is no cost for apply for membership - but once you are accepted as a member, you will be invoiced for the first year
What are the different membership types?

Business memberA business member is someone who is not an EA/MA/PA but works in an industry like airlines, hotels, event agencies, speakers etc. that would like to support the IMA country group, actively take part in the group's meetings and activities. | Professional memberA professional member is someone who works within the Management Assistant role - the title is not as important as the tasks performed. | Individual memberAn Individual member refers to someone who would like to join IMA but has no IMA country group to apply for. If an IMA country group exists, you cannot select to be an Individual member, then you must apply for the country group. |
Starting an IMA country group
Expanding IMA into new countries and setting up local IMA country groups are initiatives typically born by and carried out by an Individual member.
