~ Annual membership fees are payable by 1 March each year.
~ Companies registering two or more members qualify for a group membership.

IMA South Africa offers the option of a two-year membership, allowing you to enjoy uninterrupted access to all member benefits, with no fee increase in the second year. This extended option reduces admin and simplifies the renewal process. It’s a smart way to stay connected and supported, for longer.

Membership Explained

Professional Members

Professional membership is open to management support professionals such as Executive Assistants, Personal Assistants, Office Managers, Management Assistants and Administrative Assistants working at management or executive levels.

Associate Members
Associate membership is for individuals who support the goals of the Association but are not currently working in a management support role. This includes retired professionals, those taking a career break, or individuals transitioning between careers who wish to stay connected and informed.

Honorary Members
Honorary membership is a special title awarded by the Association in recognition of individuals who have provided valuable advice, support and sustained contribution to IMA and the management support profession. Honorary members are recognised as ambassadors of IMA and are not required to pay membership fees.

Business Members and Partners

Organisations or individuals who support IMA through partnership or sponsorship. Their involvement helps strengthen the work we do locally and internationally. Learn more on our Partners Page.
